Mountain biking helmet cam videos
About the videos
A lot of time has been dedicated to capturing and editing these mountain bike videos, so we hope you enjoy them. We believe that the mountain biking in Guisborough and North Yorkshire is some of the best in the country with an abundance of natural trails, sweet singletrack, steep shale and gnarly descents. Its because of this that I decided to capture some of our mountain bike rides and share our enjoyment with others. The videos combine a fine mix of helmet cam and hand held footage which will make you want to get out and ride.

Sunny Sunday4th Jul 2006We certainly haven't been short of sun recently so we made the most of it by taking the camcorder out for change. Only 2 of us riding on this occassion but we covered some great trails in Guisborough Woods before we melted. A bigger than normal download as I'm experimenting with compression... 117mb (8 mins 27 secs .mpg) Right click here to download |

Glentress 14th January 200619th Jan 2006Heres the first video installment for 2006 and hopefully the first of many. In complete contrast to the previous Glentress video, it was wet, cold and muddy. But as always with Glentress it was fun, fast and well worth the trip. Its 133mb I'm afraid (12 mins 3 secs .mpeg). Right click here to download |

Morzine - July 20054th Aug 2005We had a bad end to our weeks holiday in the French Alps when our bikes were stolen but fortunately we had a few days of great riding to remember. Not a massive amount of footage but it covers a variety of trails and some play riding at the Kona Bike Parc. A hefty download at 200mb (23 mins 23 secs .mpeg). Right click here to download |

Glentress 15th May 200516th May 2005The 2nd trip to Glentress this year and it just gets better. It was an unexpected 20 degress C with bright blue skies and dry dusty trails, we knew that the riding was going to be superb, and we weren't wrong. At almost 15 mins long its quite a large download so please Save, do not Stream (131mb .mpeg) Right click here to download |

Winter Carnage22nd Feb 2005What a day it was on Sunday 20th February. Seven of us ventured out in the snow that fell through the night for an eventful and long ride. This 4min 41sec video is full of comedy. (25mb .mpeg). Right click here to download |

Quack Quack Oops6th Feb 2005Oh yes, what a fluff up by John Storey on this one. I shouldn't laugh as the poor fella was in some pain after this one and couldn't breathe for a while but I guess we have to take the rough with the smooth. Anyway, I've managed to string a few very short clips together to make 53 sec video. (12.5mb .mpeg) Right click here to download |

The Top Drop4th Feb 2005Nothing too exciting here I'm afraid - just a 40 second clip of me practicing my drop riding at what I like to call the Top Drop at Great Ayton Quarry. Its a reasonable size drop but nothing too gnarly as we were only on a relaxed Sunday ride. (9.6mb .mpeg). Right click here to download |

December Ice19th Dec 2004It was damn cold which meant a firm and fast terrain, but also very sketchy indeed. We headed down Little Roseberry across the icey mud and grass, and then around Roseberry Topping for some jumping on the ice at Great Ayton Quarry. A short video at just 1 min 43 secs (10.3mb .mpeg) Right click here to download |

Sloppy Sunday7th Nov 2004Don't you just love the mud? If not, then don't ride in Guisborough Woods, we have masses of it. Fortunately, most of us love the clart, so as usual we spent our Sunday morning slip sliding away. The video is 5 mins 20 secs and is made up of both handheld and helmet cam footage as usual - Enjoy. Winter Madness29th Jan 2004This clip was shot on Wednesday 29th January. It captures a very cold, very snowy, very windy night time ride in Guisborough Woods. My rim brakes stopped working, our pedals and shoes iced up, so it was inevitably a very interesting ride... (45.4mb .wmv). Right click here to download |

Kamikaze Davo2nd Nov 2003Awww bless him, he just cant seem to stay on the bike..... Hi Davo ;o) . All the scenes on this clip are from Sunday 2nd November, except the very last scene which is from the last video, but its worth watching again. Its not all fun though, as Davo did bend his wheel and bruise some ribs on Sunday (see the video).(9.7mb .mpeg). Right click here to download |

October Chaos19th Oct 2003This very short clip shows some action from the day that Davo was christened Kamikaze Davo (Davo is the guy munching on dirt in the screenshot). He certainly had a day of carnage. Unfortunately his best crash was not caught on film, but Im sure this little tumble will make you snigger (7.1mb .mpeg). Right click here to download |
